With the remnants of the gold rush still in evidence, the south-central Cariboo is one of the most fascinating regions of the B.C. Interior. Author Colin Campbell lives on 108 Mile Ranch overlooking Walker Valley. A teacher-librarian at the high school in 100 Mile House, much of his free time is spent running, biking and skiing the area trails.
