Middle Sister
Users wanting to get up to Middle Sister should go around the east end of the fence (recently put up) which ends near a wildlife underpass. I'm not sure exactly how far east that is. Three Sisters had previously (fall 1998) assured me that they would not restrict hiking access to Stewart Crk. The fence was apparently put up by the province.

Rimwall
Instead of following the route description for the Rimwall as illustrated in Kane's book, it is possible to leave the West Wind Pass trail between the two lower openings and head up through extremely easy forest. This will put you onto the ascent ridge near the point you hit it by following Kane's route. The summit ridge is a fabulous spot, huge air on the right and easy, safe walking all the way. Highly recommended.

Rockbound Lake, Castle Mountain
For anyone doing Castle, I would recommend 2 things:
1. Follow the top terrace route. The book suggestion (lower grassy terrace, then up a loose rock gully) seemed unnecessary loss of altitude from the hump on east side of the lake.

2. If visiting other peaks around Rockbound Lake, Helena Ridge and Stuart Knob are probably the perfect combo for a single trip. The Castle itself is best done separately, due to the length of the hike.
