Description
Bat houses should be hung before the spring, because this is when bats will become active and young bats look for a new roost. Bats hibernate for most of the winter, so you would not expect them to find your bat house during those months. Although, if temperature rises to around 50F or higher; bats will become active, and forage, even in the winter. Bat House Measurements 20 inches long x 5-1/4 inches wide x 3-1/2 inches high. The landing pad is 3 inches long. The chambers are spaced 7/8th inches apart.
